If you love koalas as much as I do, there is still something you can do. Write to 
Prime Minister Turnbull. If you care enough, do something about it! THERE IS STILL HOPE!!! If everyone cares enough, we can save the koalas TOGETHER!!! Speak up about what you love. Here is the link, https://www.pm.gov.au/contact-your-pm tell them what you think, that you care and they should too.

The Austrailian Government says, "The species is a nuisance to major projects." This is outrageous. I am so frustrated that they would say this. Someday I hope to save koalas from extinction, but I'm not sure I can.

Koalas are declining at an allarming speed. Although the koala is protected by law, the gum forests arn't. If they do not get the forests protected, the koala will be extremely likely to become extinced. Here is a video about deforestation in Austrailia. 

I have finished my letter to the newspaper, and now I am looking for a newspaper to send it to. I really hope they will publish it. I have worked hard trying to help koalas. I belive that if people are educated about the problem, it will be easier to solve.
