It's been a few month since I last posted. I achieved my goal of raising $100, and donated it to the AKF! I can't keep raising money without help, however. If you would like to donate, you can contact me at clairejwilson3@gmail.com, or just donate straight to the AKF: https://www.savethekoala.com/donate

Wow. I just realized how long ago I posted to this blog. I still love koalas and am trying to find ways to raise money for the Australian Koala Foundation. I have signed up for a craft fair, where I will sell crafts and things I have made. Most of the money will go to the AKF, and the rest will go to my mom to pay her back for the materials she bought for the crafts.

I have recently written to Malcolm Turnbull, the Prime Minister of Australia. I haven't heard a reply, and I have no way of knowing if he has even gotten it yet. I certainly hope he has gotten it, and I hope he will take it into consideration, although sadly, he probably won't. If everyone wrote one letter, he would probably be more serious about it. I wanted to tell everyone to please support the Australian Koala Foundation! Here is a link to their website: https://www.savethekoala.com/
You can donate money, plant trees (online), visit the gift shop, and even adopt a koala! The koalas live at The Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary and you can visit it! (If you live near it. If you don't though, that's okay!) You get an adoption certificate with a photo of your koala, koala stickers, and more other stuff!
I am subscribed to their e-mails, and I love hearing from them! It tells you all about the latest koala news and what they are doing to try to protect koalas.
