Koalas are declining at an allarming speed. Although the koala is protected by law, the gum forests arn't. If they do not get the forests protected, the koala will be extremely likely to become extinced. Here is a video about deforestation in Austrailia. 

I have finished my letter to the newspaper, and now I am looking for a newspaper to send it to. I really hope they will publish it. I have worked hard trying to help koalas. I belive that if people are educated about the problem, it will be easier to solve.  
                                               

Today I worked on a letter I am writing to the newspaper. I want to raise awareness about koala decline and deforestation. It would be helpful if more people knew about the problem, so that together we can solve it.
